What?
The procedure usually takes about 1-3 hours, on an outpatient basis, under general anesthesia. Excess skin, fat, and muscle are removed and the area restored to a more youthful look.

Most patients can begin reading again within several days of surgery, and are back to work in about a week or so. It's usually about 3 weeks before strenuous activity can be taken on. Complete fading of bruising and swelling will take several weeks
