Boston Breast Augmentation

Who?
Most breast augmentation patients are looking to increase the size of their breasts and achieve a feminine contour, perkiness, and the ability to better fill out clothing garments. A breast augmentation can also correct assymetrical breasts.

What?
The procedure usually takes several hours and is performed on an outpatient basis with general or local anesthesia. Pockets are created in the breast, either over or under the muscle wall, and saline-filled implants inserted. The results can last for varying amounts of time. Depending on preference, patients may eventually seek a repeat procedure.

Most patients are back to work just a few days after having the surgery, but must avoid physical contact with breasts for 3-4 weeks. It may be several months to a year or more before scars fully fade.

How Safe?
