Boston Rhinoplasty
Who?
Most rhinoplasty patients are looking to change the shape or size of their nose,
making it more aesthetically pleasing or more proportionate to their other facial
features.
A rhinoplasty procedure can also be performed to correct breathing problems or
to repair a break that has healed, but never corrected.
What?
The procedure usually takes several hours and is performed on an outpatient
basis with general or local anesthesia. It is a permanent procedure, when
done to satisfaction.
Most patients are back to work 1-2 weeks after having the surgery, but more physical activity should be avoided for usually at least 3 weeks. Sun exposure needs to be avoided for a couple months after surgery.
How Safe?
There are always potential risks to be aware of when pursuing plastic surgery.
