Boston Rhinoplasty

Who?
Most rhinoplasty patients are looking to change the shape or size of their nose, making it more aesthetically pleasing or more proportionate to their other facial features. A rhinoplasty procedure can also be performed to correct breathing problems or to repair a break that has healed, but never corrected.

What?
The procedure usually takes several hours and is performed on an outpatient basis with general or local anesthesia. It is a permanent procedure, when done to satisfaction.

Most patients are back to work 1-2 weeks after having the surgery, but more physical activity should be avoided for usually at least 3 weeks. Sun exposure needs to be avoided for a couple months after surgery.

How Safe?
There are always potential risks to be aware of when pursuing plastic surgery. The key to being happy with your results is in understanding what those risks are and discussing them openly with your doctor. Contact us to schedule your consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
